Shipping Policies and Returns
Reminder that these items are Handcrafted at time of order due to the amount of scents available, and due to the fact that each item is custom made. These items are not mass produced, so completing an order does take time. All orders are made and shipped in the order they are received. If there is a rush for the order, please let me know and I will do my best to get it to you in as little time as possible. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Flat Rate Shipping when it is most cost effective, otherwise items will be shipped via regular parcel post. If your order does not all fit into a flat rate priority box, I will contact you to see if you would like it shipped in several flat rate boxes, or UPS ground mail.
Any amount of shipping charges that are over paid are ALWAYS refunded immediately back to your method of payment. If your shipping charges are under estimated by US $2.00 or less, Lavish Kandies pays that amount. Because of the fragile nature of the items in my shop, it is highly recommended that you request to have your purchase shipped with insurance. Once items leave my shop, it is not my responsibility for damaged caused by USPS or UPS. If you have paid for shipping insurance, and incur any form of damage to your package, please take pictures of the packaging as it arrives, as it’s opened, and any damage to the items so that an appropriate insurance claim can be made. Without pictures, you will not be able to file an insurance claim. I can not STRESS enough that the items in my shop are delicate in nature, and I can not be held responsible for items damaged during shipment if you do not purchase shipping insurance.
Shipping insurance costs US $2.00 and is very much worth it to have items completely replaced should they get damaged during shipping. I package all items extremely well with bubble wrap, popcorn, the works, but can not control how the postal system tosses around a box. If you do not purchase postal insurance, I will try my best to help solve a situation, but can not completely re-make an order free of charge, cost out of my pocket, as shipping insurance is suggested in all listings, shop announcement, shipping policies, and even your invoiced receipt. Packages that are returned due to being unclaimed is not the responsibility of Lavish Kandies. If this should happen, you are responsible for paying to re-ship the item as refunds will not be given.
Returns and Exchanges
All orders are final once they are placed. If any item is damaged during shipment, please contact me immediately to make sure you have all the information needed in order for you to file the correct claim with the shipping insurance and postal provider.
Items are packaged extremely well and damage is an extremely rare occurrence. Again, I am not responsible for items once they leave my hands, and are in the hands of the postal service and/or UPS, so please make sure if you have any damaged items that you take pictures and file your claim immediately.

Shipping is not included at the time your order is placed. To ensure cost efficient shipping, we use USPS regional or flat rate boxes, which determines shipping costs based on your zip code, so once your order is placed the shipping cost will be sent via invoice through Paypal. Please note you don’t have to have a Paypal account in order to pay your invoice. You may use a debit or credit card to pay your invoice. Thank you again. Lavish Kandies.
